Vietnamese Iced Coffee Recipe

Rich, sweet, and intensely strong. Vietnamese Iced Coffee is sure to dissolve your morning daze and perk you up. It’s a combination of strong coffee and sweetened condensed milk over ice.

In Vietnam, popular brands like Cafe Du Monde or Trung Nguyen coffee is slowly dripped through a metal filter called a phin that gives a stronger brew than that of North American drip coffee. However, we can achieve a similar potency by using a higher ratio of grounds to water or a double shot of espresso. Today, we’re re-creating a Vietnamese Iced Coffee recipe using a strong brew of Baba Seed Coffees Bonfire Blend.

Our Bonfire blend has chocolate and fruity notes that put a spin on traditional Vietnamese Iced Coffee and our recipe calls for half the typical condensed milk, yielding a less sweet and healthier drink that still packs a caffeine punch.
